Retail Keyholder - Assembly Row Store | Somerville - Boston

About the role

Join the ZWILLING team at our Assembly Row store in Somerville and represent some of the most respected brands in the culinary world. As a Retail Keyholder, you'll lead by example on the sales floor while supporting daily store operations, opening and closing procedures, merchandising, and sales performance. You'll help customers discover premium cutlery, cookware, and kitchen tools while sharing your passion for cooking and quality craftsmanship.

Conveniently located at Assembly Row, just steps from the MBTA Orange Line, the Mystic River, shopping, dining, and entertainment destinations, our store offers a dynamic retail environment where no two days are the same.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service and product knowledge to every shopper
• Drive sales and help achieve individual and store performance goals
• Open and close the store, following company policies and cash-handling procedures
• Support the Store Manager with daily operations and sales floor execution
• Demonstrate ZWILLING products and educate customers on features and benefits
• Maintain visual merchandising, product presentation, and store cleanliness standards
• Assist with inventory management, shipment processing, and stock replenishment
• Support promotional events, product demonstrations, and customer engagement activities
• Build lasting customer relationships through follow-up and CRM initiatives
• Serve as a role model for company values and customer service excellence

Requirements

• Previous retail sales experience; keyholder or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong leadership and customer service skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• A passion for cooking, food, or premium consumer products
• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during scheduled shifts
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and safely use a ladder as needed
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (this position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship)
