About the role

The Retail Inventory Coordinator plays a pivotal role in driving product availability, sales readiness, and inventory efficiency across STIIIZY's retail operations. This role acts as the operational bridge between forecasting, procurement, and cross-functional teams—including merchandising, operations, marketing, and finance.

Responsibilities

  • Allocation & Inventory Management
    • Plan and manage inventory allocation for promos, product launches, and seasonal pushes
    • Develop and maintain replenishment schedules to balance supply and demand
    • Cook with distribution centers to ensure on-time delivery and in-stock performance
    • Track competitor activity and market trends to refine inventory and allocation strategies
    • Identify slow movers or overstock risks and recommend corrective actions
  • Vendor Management & Procurement Support
    • Act as the communication hub between vendors and internal departments
    • Support vendor onboarding, ensuring documentation, compliance, and training are in place
    • Manage vendor delivery timelines to align with internal demand forecasts and marketing calendars
    • Evaluate supplier performance using KPIs like on-time delivery, defect rates, and responsiveness
    • Aid the Procurement Manager in sourcing, contract negotiations, and renewals
    • Proactively flag vendor risks or delays and support mitigation plans
  • Cross-Functional Planning & Communication
    • Lead planning syncs between merchandising, operations, accounting, and marketing
    • Maintain project timelines and update stakeholders on key milestones
    • Document planning assumptions, risks, and shifts in forecast
    • Support strategic initiatives such as SKU rationalization, new product rollout, or store expansions
    • Ensure planning documents and trackers are accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible to all relevant teams
  • Other Duties
    • Handle basic issues and problems and refer more complex issues to higher-level staff
    • Diligent, punctual, and ready to work!

Requirements

  • Must be over 21 years of age
  • Available for on-site operations Monday-Friday
  • Work revolves around objectives, projects, and priorities-not hours; must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed
  • Willingness and ability to undergo cross-training in various roles within the department as required
  • Prolonged periods of standing, sitting at a desk, and/or working on a computer
  • Able to stand up to 4 hours at a time
  • Ability to work in multi-temperature environments, hot or cool
  • Be able to stand, bend, kneel, squat, and twist for prolonged periods of time
  • Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift 50 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight at a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance

Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
