About the role
Provide consistently high standards of customer experience within the Store in accordance with PUMA’s Brand Values and service standards. Responsible for ensuring the Store consistently achieves or exceeds sales, KPIs, and profitability goals through effective use of short- and long-term planning, expense control, sales, and service.
Responsibilities
- Understand the purposes, properties, quality, care, and prices of the products being sold, including offering substitute, new, and related products to customers.
- Conduct full pre-sale preparation of products, arrange and display goods according to PUMA VM Standards, and maintain store presentation and visual merchandising standards.
- Optimize product presentation, highlighting features and benefits to create attractive and engaging displays that draw customers' attention and encourage purchases.
- Effectively communicate with VM PNA to ensure Retail projects and initiatives are time-managed and critical deliverables are achieved.
- Manage and communicate merchandise opportunities to General Manager, Merchandising, and Allocations teams.
- Prepare and analyze sales reports, providing insights to improve performance.
- Maintain a safe, healthy, and compliant working and shopping environment.
- Handle and process incoming and outgoing merchandise.
- Manage, communicate, and execute all event opportunities in partnership with the Marketing Manager.
- Maintain all sports interactive activation zones within the store.
- Manage all aspects of the permanent customization area within the store to ensure customers receive an outstanding experience.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of visual merchandising coordinating experience.
- Strong experience in a customer service-oriented retail environment (preferably apparel/footwear).
- Proven multi-disciplinary understanding including design fundamentals for visual presentation, presentation design, visual merchandising, and ability to execute floor sets with attention to detail.
- Proven ability in project management.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present information to large groups.
- Ability to learn quickly.
- Computer skills, including basic knowledge of MS Office programs and retail software.
- Ability to constantly walk and move about; use of speaking, hearing, near and far acuity, depth perception, and field of vision is critical.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 30 pounds regularly.
Schedule
Required to work non-traditional hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Pay
The base pay for this position is $65,000–$80,000 plus bonus and benefits.
