Retail & Guest Services Associate (Seasonal, Part Time)
Job Description
The Retail & Guest Services Associate delivers an exceptional experience for every visitor during our busy winter season. This hybrid position supports both the Gift Shop and Exhibition Front-of-House teams — greeting guests, processing sales, maintaining a welcoming environment, and helping ensure safety and fun throughout the space.
- Handle a variety of responsibilities including ticket and retail transactions, guest assistance, exhibit monitoring, and maintaining clean, organized areas.
- Support special events or 21+ functions as needed, following proper safety and access protocols.
Essential Skills And Abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1–3 years of customer service or retail experience
- 18 years of age or older
- Flexible schedule with ability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable learning and using POS systems and basic computer software
- Able to remain calm and professional in fast-paced or challenging situations
Desired Characteristics And Qualities For All Team Members
- Experience with Vend POS or Google Drive
- Bilingual or multilingual
- Prior experience in retail, hospitality, museum, or entertainment environments
Work Environment
This job operates in an office environment as well as a museum/ art exhibit. This role routinely uses cleaning equipment such as mops, vacuums, and other cleaning tools. Employees may be required to lift up to 60lbs.

- Routine repetitive movement
- Ability to kneel, crouch, reach, and grasp
Supervisor Responsibilities
This position does not require supervisory responsibility.
