Retail Golf Club Fitting Specialist

Responsibilities

• Services:
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers and gain their trust and respect by using diplomacy and tact.
  • Greet and acknowledge customers; offer assistance as needed or requested.
  • Ascertain customer needs and direct them to the golf services area that most effectively meets those needs.
  • Maintain a high level of product and industry knowledge to educate customers about new technologies, products, and services.
  • Perform athlete club fittings and repairs to support store services sales.
  • Provide excellent direct and indirect customer service as a certified club fitter, aligning with company programs.
  • Make equipment recommendations tailored to the customer.
• Operations:
  • Assist in achieving the store shrinkage goal by ensuring all merchandise used for display is properly handled and accounted for.
  • Check incoming merchandise, service, and repair equipment to confirm quantities and condition in a timely fashion.
  • Adhere to established policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all Company information.
  • Maintain and participate in all recovery and cleanliness standards.
  • Create an inclusive in-store environment where everyone (teammates and customers) feels welcome, safe, and respected.
  • Support the team across the store with an all-hands-on-deck approach.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of retail experience preferred
• Golf industry experience preferred
• Golf fitting experience preferred

Pay

Targeted pay range: $12.50 - $19.50 per hour. Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, location, experience, and position offered. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
