Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations of large retail store
- Design strategies and set goals for growth
- Maintain budgets and optimize expenses
- Set and enforce policies and processes
- Ensure employee productivity and professionalism
- Oversee recruitment, training, and scheduling of employees
- Evaluate and improve operations and performance
- Work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the business including opening/closing shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Focus on hospitality while assisting and educating customers on the brand and products
- Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations
- Resolve employee and customer issues alike
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience as a General Manager or experience in a similar role
- Industry knowledge and retail experience
- Strong hospitality background
- Experience in planning and budgeting
- Knowledge of business process and functions
- Strong analytical ability
- Excellent communication skills
