Retail Full Time Store Supervisor
At Office Depot, the Retail Store Supervisor role is a full-time position focused on providing comprehensive solutions to customers across Technology, Services, Furniture, and Print offerings. This role involves building and maintaining customer relationships to establish trust and become their go-to advisor on Technology products, services, and print offerings. The Store Supervisor demonstrates passion for the brand and effectively utilizes Office Depot’s proven sales principles to drive sales. Responsibilities
- Foster a culture that builds trust, brand loyalty, and exceptional client service delivery.
- Utilize the selling program to promote the best solutions and additional products/services.
- Maintain awareness of planned advertisements and promotions.
- Provide exceptional customer service by educating customers about Office Depot products and services.
- Evaluate customer needs to determine the total solution.
- Provide guidance, direction, and ongoing training to store associates, including Print Services associates.
- Facilitate training sessions on the business model and holistic service offerings.
- Observe, coach, and provide feedback to enhance associate proficiency.
- Process merchandise accurately and efficiently, adhering to established procedures and visual merchandising standards.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement plans to reduce waste and inefficiencies.
- Ensure regular loss prevention compliance and assist the General Manager in coaching associates for improved performance.
- Contribute to increasing sales and profitability through conversion, Average Order Value (AOV), and customer satisfaction initiatives.
- Maintain the safety and security of the building and associates during the absence of other managers.
- Perform opening and closing responsibilities, including alarm system activation/deactivation, cash handling, and daily store balancing.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; coursework in Business, Retail Management, or related field a plus.
- 1–3 years of related experience; retail, sales, customer-facing, and/or supervisory experience preferred.
- Knowledgeable in Technology and Print, including use of relevant equipment and POS systems.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays.
- Must be able to perform External Key Carrier responsibilities, including opening and closing duties.
- Consent to periodic comprehensive background checks conducted by a third-party.

Pay
The salary range for this role is $11.81 per hour to $17.66 per hour, with compliance to all state and local minimum wage laws.
