Primary Responsibilities

Sales and Service Excellence:
- Foster a culture that builds trust, brand loyalty and exceptional client service delivery.
- Utilize and understand the selling program to promote the sale of the best solution as well as additional product and/or services solutions.
- Maintain awareness of planned advertisements and promotions.
- Provide exceptional customer service by educating customers about Office Depot products and services.
- Effectively utilize communication tools to request assistance anywhere on the sales floor, and to coordinate the appropriate service, and customer engagement throughout the store.
- Evaluate the customer's needs to determine the total solution.

Leadership and Team Development:
- Provide guidance, direction, and ongoing training to store associates, including Print Services associates.
- Facilitate training sessions on the business model and the holistic service offering for clients/customers.
- Observe, coach, and provide feedback to enhance associate proficiency and build a culture of trust and brand loyalty.
- Provide feedback to the General Manager regarding store associates' performance, certification(s), and competencies.
- Other responsibilities as deemed necessary.

Operational Efficiency:
- Process merchandise accurately and efficiently, adhering to established procedures, deadlines, and visual merchandising standards.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement plans to reduce waste and inefficiencies.
- As a leader in the store, ensure regular loss prevention compliance.
- Assist the General Manager in providing guidance and effective coaching to associates for improved performance.
- Contribute to increasing sales and profitability through conversion, Average Order Value (AOV), and customer satisfaction improvement initiatives.

External Key Carrier Responsibilities:
- Maintain the safety and security of the building and associates during the absence of other managers.
- In partnership with all associates, ensure regular loss prevention compliance.
- Perform opening and closing responsibilities, including activation and deactivation of the store's alarm system, cash handling, and daily store balancing.
- Fulfill responsibilities associated with External Key Carrier designation.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; coursework in Business, Retail Management, or related field a plus.
- 1–3 years related experience; retail, sales, customer-facing, and/or supervisory experience preferred.
- Knowledgeable in Technology and Print, including use of relevant equipment and POS systems.

- Comfortable using technology and systems to complete daily responsibilities.

Pay, Benefits & Work Schedule
- The salary range for this role is $18.00 to $22.00 per hour, however all state and local minimum wages will be complied with, resulting in a possible adjustment to the salary range displayed.

- This is a full-time position that requires a flexible schedule aligned with business needs, inclusive of the ability to work evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays.
- Full-Time Supervisor positions must be able to perform External Key Carrier responsibilities which include but are not limited to opening and closing responsibilities.
