Retail Full Time Store Supervisor
About the role
The Retail Store Supervisor role at Office Depot is a full-time position focusing on providing comprehensive solutions across Technology, Services, Furniture, and Print offerings. This role involves building and maintaining customer relationships, becoming a trusted advisor, and driving sales through effective communication and sales techniques.
Primary Responsibilities
- Foster a culture of trust and exceptional client service delivery.
- Utilize and understand the selling program to promote the sale of the best solution and additional product/service solutions.
- Maintain awareness of planned advertisements and promotions.
- Provide exceptional customer service by educating customers about Office Depot products and services.
- Educate customers on the total solution based on their needs.
- Guide, direct, and train store associates, including Print Services associates.
- Facilitate training sessions on the business model and the holistic service offering for clients/customers.
- Evaluate associate proficiency and build a culture of trust and brand loyalty.
- Provide feedback to the General Manager regarding store associates' performance, certification(s), and competencies.
- Contribute to increasing sales and profitability through conversion, AOV, and customer satisfaction improvement initiatives.
- Perform external key carrier responsibilities such as opening and closing the store, ensuring regular loss prevention compliance, and assisting with cash handling and daily store balancing.
Education & Experience
- A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Coursework in Business, Retail Management, or related fields a plus.
- 1-3 years related experience, including retail, sales, customer-facing, and supervisory experience.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong selling, interpersonal, and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and train others.
- Works well independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable using technology and systems to complete daily responsibilities.
- Demonstrates problem-solving, conflict management, time management, and business acumen.
- Drives for results, directs others effectively, makes sound decisions, and collaborates well.

Pay, Benefits & Work Schedule
The salary range for this role is $16/hour to $19/hour, with state and local minimum wages applied. The company offers competitive salaries, a benefits package, including a 401(k) and more, along with numerous opportunities for growth within the organization. You may be eligible for an incentive program, paid in accordance with the Incentive Plan terms and conditions.
