Retail Employee

The Retail Employee / Project Specialist role ensures customers have an amazing experience whether shopping in-store or picking up orders. Early morning shifts start between 5:00 am and 7:00 am, focusing on unloading trucks and merchandising before the store opens. Additional shifts may include order processing, registers, and sales during daytime, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Work merchandise processing during early morning or evening shifts, including unloading trucks, lifting boxes, merchandising products, climbing ladders, and maintaining a safe but fast pace.
• Welcome and greet customers as a Host at the front entrance or throughout the store.
• Engage with customers to suggest solutions for their organizational challenges.
• Design and sell custom closets and other storage solutions.
• Operate registers with a focus on providing a great customer experience during checkout.
• Introduce and enroll customers in our rewards program.
• Maintain the sales floor, keeping shelves full and presented according to brand standards.
• Assist with customer carryout to cars, including curbside and parking lot/garage service.
• Support cleaning routines, including dusting, restroom maintenance, and vacuuming.
• Process customer orders for curbside pickup and/or delivery.
• Organize the stockroom to support the store’s selling efforts.
• Adhere to time expectations, performing tasks accurately and efficiently with attention to detail.
• Actively engage with customers to solve their organizational challenges.

Requirements

• Availability for early morning shifts (3 days a week) starting between 5:00 am and 7:00 am.
• High school diploma preferred.
• Retail sales experience is a plus.
• Strong computer skills.
• Enjoys engaging with people and connecting with customers.
• Understands retail is an ever-changing industry and requires flexibility in scheduling.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
