About the role
Our Trailer Attendants are the “face of Goodwill” to the donors who drop off their donations at our donation trailer sites. Attendants go out of their way to help donors and acknowledge their support.
Responsibilities
- Unload donations from donor vehicles and offer/issue a receipt for every donor
- Sort and store donations in the trailer
- Maintain cleanliness, order, and security of the trailer area at all times
This position requires working outside in extreme conditions, though most trailers have some form of heating/cooling (e.g., fans). Work involves physical exertion such as long periods of standing, recurring bending, crouching, reaching, stooping, or similar activities. May also require frequent lifting of moderately heavy items up to 35 lbs, occasional lifting up to 50 lbs, and for certain positions, frequent climbing of stairs, ladders, or step stools.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Schedule
Trailers are open Monday–Sunday. Hours will vary depending on location.
Pay
$15.00 per hour
