Retail District Manager

About the role

Lead and manage multiple store locations within an assigned area, ensuring full profit and loss responsibility while aligning with company objectives and policies.

Responsibilities

• Administer human resources policies fairly and effectively.
• Deliver exceptional customer service through engaging store environments.
• Drive sales growth by optimizing inventory management and store operations.
• Utilize tools and processes to improve performance and efficiency.
• Plan and execute company objectives, maximizing productivity and store performance.
• Recruit, develop, and retain staff; promote human capital development.
• Protect assets through loss prevention and expense management.
• Identify new business opportunities and operational improvements.
• Communicate priorities effectively to store teams.

Requirements

• Proven leadership with results-oriented approach; experience managing multi-unit retail operations with P&L responsibility.
• Strong financial analysis, resource management, and inventory control skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and customer service skills.
• Collaborative team player with good judgment under pressure.
• Minimum four years retail management experience in grocery, convenience, or similar retail settings.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Willingness to travel weekly using a company vehicle; valid driver’s license and good driving record.
