Retail Display Installer - Electronics - Part Time

About the role

ActionLink is seeking a Part-Time Retail Merchandiser for Cleveland, TN 37312 and the surrounding area to enhance the retail experience by setting up and maintaining product displays.

Responsibilities

• Complete projects at major retail stores within an assigned territory to represent clients' brands
• Set up and maintain a wide variety of products including HD TVs, home theater equipment, small and large home appliances, tablets & laptops, gaming consoles, and home audio
• Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of promotional product displays
• Submit same-day digital surveys with feedback and pictures for each store visit

Clients represented

Microsoft, Samsung, T-Mobile, Dyson, Bose, and Intel

Schedule

• Up to 40 hours a month, up to 10 hours per week
• Availability required Monday-Friday; 8:00am to 6:00pm
• No weekends or evenings
• Potential for more hours if covering larger regions or traveling

Compensation & benefits

• General merchandising projects: $17.00 per hour
• Additional technical projects available at higher rates, based on need
• W2 employment with bi-weekly pay schedule and direct deposit

Requirements

• Previous merchandising, 3PL, or relevant retail experience is highly desirable
• Ability to handle all levels of merchandising work within assigned territory
• Attention to detail and ability to follow complex written instructions and display diagrams
• Comfortable working independently and collaborating with a small team when needed
• Internet access, basic hand-held tools, and a Wi-Fi/GPS enabled smart device with latest OS update
• Laptop or desktop access is a plus
• Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle (required for performing responsibilities)
• Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift products weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance
