Retail Display Installer - Electronics - Part Time

Part-time position located in New York City, NY (10017) and surrounding area.

About the role

Enhance the retail experience by setting up and maintaining product displays for major global clients. Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of promotional displays for a wide variety of electronics, including HD TVs, home theater equipment, home appliances, tablets, laptops, gaming consoles, and home audio.

Responsibilities

• Complete store visits within an assigned territory to represent clients’ brands.
• Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot promotional product displays.
• Submit same-day digital surveys with feedback and pictures for each store visit.

Schedule

• Up to 30 hours per week.
• Availability required Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (no weekends or evenings).
• Potential for additional hours if covering larger regions or traveling.

Pay

• Hourly wage: $20.00 per hour.
• Additional technical projects available at higher rates, based on need.
• Bi-weekly pay schedule with direct deposit.
• Store-to-store drive time and mileage reimbursement.
• Paid training time provided.

Requirements

• Previous merchandising, 3PL, or relevant retail experience is highly desirable.
• Ability to handle all levels of merchandising work within assigned territory.
• Strong attention to detail to follow complex written instructions and display diagrams.
• Comfortable working independently and collaborating with a small team when needed.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, access to a personal vehicle, and be willing to use it for the role.
• Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift products weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance.

Skills

• Internet access and basic hand-held tools.
• Wi-Fi/GPS-enabled smart device with the latest OS update (laptop/desktop access is a plus).
