Retail Display Installer - Electronics - Part Time

About the role

Join ActionLink as a Part-Time Retail Merchandiser and enhance the retail experience by setting up and maintaining product displays for global clients in major retail stores. You’ll work with a wide variety of electronics, including HD TVs, home theater equipment, home appliances, tablets, laptops, gaming consoles, home audio, and more.

Responsibilities

• Complete projects at assigned retail stores to ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of promotional product displays.
• Represent global clients such as Microsoft, Samsung, T-Mobile, Dyson, Bose, and Intel.
• Submit same-day digital surveys with feedback and pictures for each store visit.

Requirements

• Previous merchandising, 3PL, or relevant retail experience is highly desirable.
• Ability to handle all levels of merchandising work within assigned territory.
• Attention to detail to follow complex written instructions and display diagrams.
• Comfortable working independently and collaborating with a small team when needed.
• Internet access, basic hand-held tools, and a Wi-Fi/GPS-enabled smart device with the latest OS update (laptop/desktop access is a plus).
• Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle; must be willing to use it for store-to-store travel.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift products weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance.

Schedule

• Up to 25 hours per week.
• Availability required Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• No weekends or evenings.
• Potential for more hours if covering larger regions or traveling.

Pay

• General merchandising projects: $18.00 per hour.
• Additional technical projects available at higher rates, based on need.
