Retail Designer, Marketing - Lakeland

Responsibilities

Performs the operational needs of the retail environmental design program – executing and reviewing the work associated with the program while ensuring that marketing strategies are incorporated, and appropriate brand expression is achieved.

Requirements

• Develops signage install guide mechanicals and final files, ensuring final designs deliver upon signage standards, meets strategy, are technically and aesthetically excellent, and are on brand (adhere to Publix brand standards).
• Bachelor's degree in an environmental graphics related field (e.g., Interior Design) or equivalent combination of formal training/certification and professional work experience that demonstrates the prerequisite competence to perform the duties of this position.
• 2 years’ experience in environmental graphic design.
• Ability to travel occasionally.
• Knowledge of print media and related materials used in environmental signage, including traditional flat material, dimensional material, and hardware.
• Knowledge of general print production processes.
• Knowledge of general design processes.
• Knowledge of industry and market trends.

Qualifications

• 1 year as Retail Design Coordinator (or equivalent) or 3 years’ experience in environmental graphic design.
• Knowledge of Marketing department workflow processes and project lifecycles, Publix brand including Publix target customers, and business objectives.
