About the role

A cashier position at a busy travel stop, focused on delivering friendly, efficient customer service, processing transactions, and keeping the environment clean.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with finding items, answer product and service questions, and address their needs.
• Balance cash register, process transactions, and promote additional sales while adhering to laws.
• Ensure food safety standards for fresh and deli products using various methods and technology.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, sales floor, restrooms, pumps, and complete trash removal.
• Potentially cross-train in other departments such as restaurant services, kitchen, maintenance, or leadership roles.
• Ability to lift 25+ pounds and work in different temperature conditions.
