Retail Customer Service Cashier

About the Role

At Love’s, our cashiers work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining clean spaces while providing fast, friendly, and accurate service to customers. They perform various duties based on business needs, requiring flexibility and teamwork. No prior experience is necessary—we provide training.

Responsibilities

• Perform general customer service duties, including helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
• Balance a cash register by completing customer transactions, offering additional sales opportunities, and following all state and local laws.
• Use various methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions for fresh food and deli products.
• Maintain cleanliness in your direct working area, sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and complete trash runs.
• Cross-train in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles as needed.
• Ability to move and lift 25+ pounds and work in various temperatures.
