Retail Customer Host Associate - Powers Store

About the role

The Associate I, Retail Customer Host will greet customers, check receipts, and provide excellent customer service. This role involves managing customer flow, answering questions, and ensuring a welcoming shopping environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide store information.
• Answer questions and offer assistance, including directing customers to specific areas.
• Check customers' receipts to verify purchases and ensure accuracy.
• File appropriate reports with the Risk department.
• Use handheld scanners and other technology to monitor transactions and report incidents.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior and maintain a calm demeanor.
• Follow all retail center policies and procedures, including safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with customers, managers, supervisors, staff, and peers.
• Work a varied schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.

Requirements

• A High School diploma or equivalent.
• Prior Retail Store door attendant experience is preferred.
• Attention to detail and decision-making ability.
• Basic technology proficiency, including Microsoft, Think Risk, and other tools.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to take initiative.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• Eligible for Daily Pay.
