Responsibilities
- Ensure system settings, establish and test credit parameters and criteria.
- Maintain, update, and test products, policy, decision criteria, and pricing schemas with a complete understanding of retail credit.
- Analyze application (approval/decline) trends and consumer loan performance by leveraging data analytics to recommend credit policy changes within the portfolio.
- Develop business reporting, including production, operations, and performance reports from loan origination systems or other data sources/repositories.
- Maintain data hygiene and data integrity for retail credit.
- Interact directly with outside vendor/partners.
- Utilize technology systems in support of the credit process.
- Execute strategic direction for efficiencies and optimization of credit workflow, including needed functionality, required data sources, and workflow changes critical to achieving risk and origination priorities.
- Maintain and assist with products, scoring criteria, monitoring, auto decision criteria, and pricing schemas through the established user interface within the system.
- Analyze underwriting decision criteria for credit policy based on loan performance trends within a portfolio.
- Develop and produce reporting needed for credit and operational management.
- Perform user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Maintain standard operating procedures for retail credit Loan Origination System, including change logs.
- Act as the subject matter expert with establishing requirements and testing solutions for credit reporting.
- Identify process gaps impacting credit and notify appropriate business units and management to remediate gaps.
- Escalate unresolved issues for further action.
- Communicate with key stakeholders and IT as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in computer science, management information systems, or a related field. (Required)
- Master's Degree or equivalent experience in computer science, management information systems, or a related field. (Preferred)
- 3 or more years of experience in the financial services sector, preferably with credit reporting and analytics. (Required)
- 2 or more years of SQL experience. (Preferred)
- 2 or more years of experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Excel. (Preferred)
This role may perform other job duties as assigned by the manager.
Pay
The salary range for this position is $57,800.00 - $96,300.00 annually.
