Join Boscov's, a family-owned department-store chain with over 100 years of history, as a Retail Cosmetics Sales Consultant at our cosmetics counter. In this fast-paced, dynamic role, you’ll assist with customer events, collaborate with management on sales strategies, and act as an ambassador for your product line. Your ability to build strong customer relationships will drive your success.
Responsibilities
- Sell cosmetics merchandise and provide in-depth product knowledge to customers
- Deliver excellent customer service by fulfilling merchandise needs
- Maintain the appearance of the selling floor and stock area
- Complete all paperwork and transactions accurately and efficiently, adhering to company policies
- Track daily and weekly sales and complete required reports
- Stay aware of advertised merchandise and promotions
- Maintain stock by assisting with receiving, straightening, and replenishing merchandise
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong cosmetics sales experience (preferred)
- Sales-driven with a commitment to excellent customer service
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to learn selling skills and operate a POS terminal and telxon
- Availability to work evenings and weekends
