About the role

The Retail Construction Coordinator works cross-functionally with a range of stakeholders while coordinating the critical path for Windsor Fashions Retail expansion. They will coordinate remodels, relocations, and new store development from the start of construction through project completion, ensuring a successful store opening.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the assigned Construction Manager to ensure the overall project is on schedule and completed per scope of work.
  • Conduct physical repairs and maintenance on national projects, including removing store graphics, patching walls, and painting.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills and coordinate all vendors to accurately complete their jobs.
  • Track daily progress, identify and resolve issues throughout the project, and communicate them to the Construction Manager immediately.
  • Remain on site for the duration of the project to verify construction quality standards and ensure a timely opening.
  • Maintain professionalism while traveling for Windsor.
  • Follow all Company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Interior painting experience is highly preferred.
  • Ability to work a variety of hours, including nights and weekends.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and strong computer skills (proficient in Word, Excel, Calendar, etc.).
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop relationships across all levels.
  • Ability to work independently in a demanding, fast-paced, and evolving environment while maintaining efficiency, organization, time management, and attention to detail.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple, complex projects concurrently.
  • Must be able to travel independently 90% of the time and drive daily to assigned area stores.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.

Physical/Environmental Demands

  • Frequently stands, walks, observes, communicates, and reads.
  • Regularly moves and pushes.
  • Must be able to access all areas of the store, including the selling floor, stock area, and register area.
  • Must be able to operate and use all equipment necessary for the role.
