Retail Commission Sales Associate - Fine Jewelry, Twelve Oaks - Part Time

About the Role

As a Fine Jewelry Sales Colleague, you provide outstanding customer service in our Fine Jewelry and Watch Complex, creating shopping experiences that make every customer feel welcomed, comfortable, and valued. You bring elegance, expertise, and personalized service to every interaction, helping customers find the perfect piece to celebrate life's special moments. With a passion for fine craftsmanship and a deep understanding of precious metals, gemstones, and luxury brands, you continually demonstrate superior product knowledge to educate and assist customers in selecting items that suit their tastes, preferences, and budgets. You focus on building lasting client relationships through consultative selling, genuine hospitality, and active use of our clientele program.

Responsibilities

• Meet sales goals and promote loyalty and warranty programs
• Support inventory and fulfillment activities
• Support special events
• Ensure the security, accuracy, and impeccable presentation of merchandise
• Work closely with your team to achieve sales goals and uphold operational excellence in all aspects of the Fine Jewelry department
• Review sales goals, learn about new arrivals and top-selling items, and stay up to date on current trends and promotions
• Maintain a shoppable space by ensuring proper processing, presentation, organization, storing and replenishment of stock, updating signs and pricing, and supporting merchandise moves
• Share Loyalty program benefits and build customer relationships to bring customers back
• Acquire new customers by opening credit accounts and sharing loyalty benefits
• Drive sales and client loyalty by leveraging clienteling tools to promote offers and product launches, participating in sales events, and staying up to date through ongoing training and vendor education
• Achieve Client and Protection plan goals in addition to sales goals
• Effectively use point-of-sale technology and digital tools to streamline transactions and enhance the shopping experience

Qualifications

• Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
• Must be able to understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors
• Must be able to read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English
• Provide product recommendations, assist with fittings and digital shopping tools, and create a welcoming, knowledgeable, and supportive shopping experience
• Drive sales and operational excellence by leveraging product knowledge, participating in vendor training and events, using point-of-sale tools effectively, and ensuring accurate stock presentation, replenishment, and asset protection compliance
• 1-2 years of related experience required

Essential Physical Requirements

• Talking, lifting, constant moving, standing, and reaching with arms and hands
• Standing for at least two consecutive hours, lifting at least 25 lbs., stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders, reaching including above eye level
• Requires close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
• Frequent use of computers and other technology, necessary to perform job functions, including handheld equipment, cash register and ability to process register transactions

Schedule

• Full-time colleagues are typically scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week
• Part-time colleagues are typically scheduled 12-24 hours per week
• All schedules contain weekend shifts as part of the requirements
• Hours are dependent on business needs and colleague availability
