Responsibilities
- Aid the Store Team Leader in managing payroll budgets, expenses, store banking, shrink reduction, and completing related reports.
- Provide exceptional Associate and Customer service experiences, demonstrating Ollie’s “Yes I Care, Yes I Can” behaviors.
- Ensure store standards, seasonal transitions, inventory processes, and company programs meet operational expectations.
- Develop and implement talent planning to support associate growth.
- Ensure proper scheduling and staffing align with business needs.
- Perform opening and closing duties as needed and fulfill any additional responsibilities assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2 years’ retail management experience with a mid to large size retailer.
- Schedule flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and seasonal hours.
- Valid Driver’s license.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
- Standing for extended periods.
- Safe working environment.
Co-Team Leader Qualifications
- Management experience with companies like Walmart, 5 Below, Burlington Stores, Big Lots, Dollar General, Rural King, Gabes, Dicks Sporting Goods, and Bed Bath and Beyond.
