Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Fast-paced environment with varying hours to accommodate the needs of the business.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper recording of all transactions in the Point-of-Sale system.
• Accurately handle all cash, checks, credit card, gift certificates, and comp transactions.
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness in the retail outlet on a daily basis.
• Unpack, stock, and price all merchandise in the shop with the ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
• Absorb and assist in stocking and recording stock for all vending machines.
• Straighten, dust, and organize retail outlet when there are no guests.
• Greet guests at the entrance to the retail outlet to encourage them to come in and look around when there are no other duties to perform.
• Be knowledgeable about and adhere to all policies and procedures for the retail outlet.
• Complete physical inventory each month requiring lifting, counting, and using a stepladder.
• Merchandise products and new arrivals.
• Repack merchandise as seasons change, accurately recording merchandise as it is packed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent guest service skills.
• Basic computer skills.
