Retail Clerk - Full Time Days
About the role
The primary responsibility of the salesperson within healthcare retail is to demonstrate a positive, outgoing, and caring attitude towards all customers and patients. Sales in healthcare retail requires the ability to learn new products in health, wellness, and gift categories and to explain the function and benefit of these items to patients and customers. You will work in all areas of the Gift Shop to ensure smooth operations and report to the Gift Shop Manager. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with Mercy’s mission, values, and Service Standards.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a positive, outgoing, and caring attitude toward customers and patients.
- Learn and explain the function and benefits of health, wellness, and gift products.
- Work across all areas of the Gift Shop to support smooth operations.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in a retail environment preferred.
- Knowledge of POS systems preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team.
- Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize duties.

- High School Diploma or equivalent.
