Retail Cashier, Yellowstone General Stores

About the role

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring seasonal Retail Cashiers to join their team at Yellowstone General Stores in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. As a Retail Cashier, you will manage all transactions while providing excellent guest service.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, answer questions, and assist whenever possible
• Process sales with point of sale system and bag merchandise
• Maintain records related to sales
• Routinely stock merchandise and maintain back-stock
• Verify amount of bank at beginning and end of each shift
• Absorb additional tasks in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• No high school diploma or GED required
• Previous experience in retail or customer service environment preferred
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
• Ability to stand for entire shift
• Ability to climb stairs and step stool frequently
• Visual acuity sufficient to distinguish merchandise and operate point-of-sale system

Qualifications

• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Able to accurately handle money and count change

Skills
