Retail Cashier | T-Mobile Arena

Job Summary

Performs cashiering duties, including making cash transactions, verifying cash drawer, giving change, counting cash receipts and completing cash reports. May also perform general food service work.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Handles credit card transactions using the Point of Sales system.
• Operate point-of-sale systems to process card transactions quickly and accurately.
• P Practices proper product control and handling of all inventory and equipment.
• Makes change, accepts declining balance cards and other acceptable forms of payment; issues receipts to customers.
• Follows standard procedures for issuing cash refunds.
• Follows cash handling guidelines.
• Adheres to Levy Company guidelines as stated in team member training manual and employee handbook.
• Assist customers with product selection and sizing.
• Responds to guest’s needs and requests, effectively using suggestive and upselling techniques, and maintains service areas.
• Interacts with customers and resolves customer complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Set up and break down merchandise booths before and after events.
• Maintain organized and visually appealing merchandise displays.
• Restock inventory during events to ensure product availability.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth booth operations.
• Follow venue-specific protocols and security procedures.
• Ensures compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
• Support merchandise logistics across multiple venues as needed.

Job Duties

• Must be able to reach with hands and arms for one-third to two-thirds or more of the designated shift.
• React with physical and mental alertness in emergency situations.
• Maintain a friendly, energetic, and professional demeanor at all times.
• Be punctual, reliable and available for scheduled shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays on event basis.
• Adeptly adapt quickly to fast-paced, high-volume environments.
• Demonstrate physical stamina and agility required to be mobile for long periods throughout the day and stand for duration of entire shift.
• Able to effectively communicate in English in written and oral form.
• Able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch and bend.
• Lift, push pull up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to follow directions and work independently. Must be able to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers. Must be able to work in a team environment. Must be able to follow safety procedures and policies.
