Primary Duties/Responsibilities

- Greet and acknowledge customers as they enter the store, providing excellent customer service. - Operate the cash register, handling credit card transactions, discounts, and performing cash register balancing. - Stock, straighten, and maintain the cleanliness of the store area. - Request assistance for returns, exchanges, and customer complaints. - Uphold store cleanliness by sweeping, dusting, mopping, and shining surfaces. - Build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and leadership. - Adhere to safe work practices and ensure the workplace is hazard-free. - Safeguard agency assets and report any incidents of theft or unauthorized possession. - Follow MERS/Goodwill policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

Qualifications

- No degree required; a High School Diploma or GED is preferred. - Effective communication skills with co-workers, customers, and management. - Organized and capable of interacting with a diverse work population. - Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
