About the Role
Carolina Herrera’s internship program is designed to engage talented students and evolve the future leaders of fashion. As an HR Intern, you will support the department’s daily activities and perform various administrative tasks while learning about different HR disciplines, including Talent Acquisition, Employer Branding, Employee Engagement, HR Policies & Procedure, and Payroll & Benefits.
The cross-departmental approach at Carolina Herrera provides hands-on experience in the business world, allowing you to work with nearly every department and gain exposure to the full lifecycle of a collection—from conception to production.
Responsibilities
- Participate in market preparation, including line sheet creation and gathering images/sketches.
- Assist the design team in creating color-ups for style additions during market.
- Maintain and update line sheets before and during market.
- Assist with bi-weekly selling reports, best-seller reports, and end-of-season recaps.
- Conduct competitive research, identifying trends in sales, product categories, and markets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners in Design/Development, Sales, Visual Merchandising, and PR.
- Support in-store visual updates with the Senior Visual Manager, following brand guidelines.
- Assist with the visual needs of both retail and wholesale.
- Support the Senior Visual Manager with research projects and ad-hoc retail/wholesale events.
- Develop strong analytical skills and learn to work effectively across teams.
Requirements
- Must be a student pursuing a college degree.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office.
- Keen interest in visual merchandising and awareness of upcoming trends and styles.
Pay
The hourly rate for this internship is $17.00/hour.
