About the role
The Retail Branch Manager I position at Woodforest National Bank is responsible for driving sales, fostering customer relationships, and managing a team. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant sales and/or customer service experience, or a combination of a bachelor's degree and 3 years of experience. Previous in-store banking experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Achieve branch sales and revenue goals by identifying, marketing, and recommending banking products and services.
- Create a positive culture and lead a team to achieve profitability, sales, customer experience, compliance, and growth objectives.
- Grow business deposits and loans through outside and inside business calling.
- Enhance customer experience and build the bank's reputation by greeting and engaging customers.
- Lead a technology-driven customer experience and develop innovative strategies to grow and retain customer relationships.
- Engage in community development initiatives with a Community Development Relationship Manager.
- Inspire and lead team members to reach their full potential.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

- Flexible to work flexible or extended hours as needed.

- Knowledgeable about products, services, policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
- Confident in maintaining confidentiality and following policies and procedures.
- Organized with excellent prioritization and multitasking skills.
- Familiar with financial statements and credit reports.
