Retail Branch Manager

About the role

The Retail Branch Manager I position at Woodforest National Bank is responsible for driving sales, fostering customer relationships, and managing a team. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant sales and/or customer service experience, or a combination of a bachelor's degree and 3 years of experience, along with leadership experience in managing a sales team.

Responsibilities

• Achieve branch sales and revenue goals by identifying, marketing, and recommending banking products and services.
• Create a positive culture and drive sales through proactive engagement with customers and partners.
• Recruit, train, retain, and motivate staff to achieve branch profitability, sales targets, and customer satisfaction.
• Grow business deposits and loans through both inside and outside business calls.
• Enhance customer experience by greeting, engaging, and developing relationships with retail partners and customers.
• Lead a technology-driven customer experience and collaborate with a Community Development Relationship Manager on community engagement strategies.
• Inspire and lead team members to reach their full potential and perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must reside within the local community.
• Previous in-store banking experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for long periods.
