Retail Branch Manager

About the role

The Retail Branch Manager I position at Woodforest National Bank is responsible for driving sales, fostering customer relationships, and managing a team within the bank's retail branch network.

Responsibilities

• Achieve branch sales and revenue goals by identifying, marketing, and recommending banking products and services.
• Create a positive culture and drive sales initiatives within the branch.
• Recruit, train, retain, and motivate staff to achieve profitability, sales, customer experience, compliance, and growth objectives.
• Grow business deposits and loans through both inside and outside business calling.
• Enhance customer experience and build the reputation of the Bank by greeting, engaging, and developing relationships with retail partners and customers.
• Lead and execute a community engagement strategy with a Community Development Relationship Manager.
• Inspire and lead team members to reach their full potential.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Proactive sales and customer service experience, or a combination of education and experience.
• At least 5 years of relevant and transferable sales and/or customer service experience, or a Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of relevant and transferable experience.
• One year of experience leading and directing the activities of a sales team.
• Previous instore banking experience preferred but not required.
• Positive and engaging personality.
