Retail Branch Manager

About the role

The Retail Branch Manager I position at Woodforest National Bank is responsible for driving sales, fostering customer relationships, and managing a team. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant sales and/or customer service experience, or a combination of a bachelor's degree and 3 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Achieve branch sales and revenue goals by identifying, marketing, and recommending banking products and services.
• Create a positive and energetic environment for achieving retail objectives and initiatives.
• Recruit, train, retain, and motivate staff to meet profitability, sales, customer experience, compliance, and growth objectives.
• Grow business deposits and loans through both inside and outside business calling.
• Enhance customer experience and reputation by greeting, engaging, and developing relationships with retail partners and customers.
• Lead and execute a community engagement strategy with a Community Development Relationship Manager.
• Inspire and lead team members to reach their full potential.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Knowledgeable about products, services, policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
• Confident in maintaining confidentiality and following policies and procedures.
• Organized, able to prioritize tasks, and accurate in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiar with financial statements and credit reports.

Requirements

• Positive and engaging personality.
• Previous in-store banking experience preferred but not required.
