Retail Banker I (Travelers Rest)

About the role

The Retail Banker I role is integral to delivering TD's Brand promise by utilizing financial expertise and consultative advice to assist customers with their banking solutions/needs. This role contributes to the achievement of business objectives that enable growth through identifying appropriate TD solutions that help customers achieve their financial goals and optimize their relationship with TD.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes product knowledge to identify and recommend appropriate solutions to customers.
• Engages in customer conversations to understand their financial needs and provide tailored advice.
• Manages customer relationships by resolving issues and escalating complex cases as needed.
• Trains and assists in the completion of customer transactions, including check cashing, deposits, transfers, and withdrawals.
• Works collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience working with customers or sales.
• Ability to complete teller training upon hire.
• Full proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Notary license preferred.

• Broad knowledge and understanding of the full product suite, services, and processes of the business area.
• Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Demonstrated ability to engage in customer conversations and educate them on products and services.
• Ability to work independently and within deadlines.
• Sound judgment in decision-making and effective problem-solving.

Pay

$22.50 - $29.00 USD per hour, commensurate with experience.

Schedule

40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
