Overnight Retail Cashier

About the role

Join our team as a Retail Cashier / Customer Service Associate and be the friendly face our customers count on. In this role, you’ll deliver exceptional service at the register while supporting day-to-day store operations, including stocking, cleaning, and maintaining a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer with a warm smile and friendly attitude.
• Deliver a fast, accurate, and professional checkout experience.
• Promote current sales, specials, and suggestively sell to enhance customer experience.
• Process transactions accurately and responsibly, including alcohol and tobacco sales (must meet legal age requirements).
• Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store, including fuel islands.
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays with fresh and organized products.
• Aid in maintaining foodservice and coffee areas, including cleaning and restocking.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and labeling procedures.
• Support team members and complete additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ to meet legal age requirements for regulated product sales.
• Our stores require flexible availability for a 24/7 operation (including nights, weekends, and holidays).
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, helpful attitude.
• A commitment to delivering outstanding customer experiences.
• Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative independently.
• Quick thinking, adaptable, and dependable.

Skills

• Must be able to stand for an extended period.
• Frequent tasks include standing, walking, bending, and twisting; reaching with hands and arms; climbing or balancing; stooping, kneeling, or crouching; talking and listening.
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 65 pounds.
• Work safely in work conditions that include heat, cold, allergen, noise, and fume/chemical/odor from gasoline and cleaning chemicals.

Pay

$18.20 - $19.20 an hour.

Schedule

Part-time 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. & 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. including weekends.

Shift Differential

To be eligible, you must work at least 4 hours between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.
