Retail Associate, Part Time

We are looking for Retail Associates to join the famed Delano Miami Beach. Delano Miami Beach fuses historic charm with contemporary luxury, reflecting a reimagined experience that pays homage to the original visionary concept. Comprising 171 rooms and distinct food and beverage concepts, the hotel preserves its iconic walk-in pool and unveils a new pool on an amenity deck, offering breathtaking views of the ocean. Delano Miami Beach acts as the brand’s flagship location, re-establishing Delano as a trailblazer in luxury lifestyle hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional personalized service to guests, anticipating needs and offering tailored recommendations.
• Maintain a strong understanding of all products, collections, and brand storytelling.
• Achieve and exceed individual and team sales goals.
• Ensure the retail space is impeccably presented at all times, in line with brand standards.
• Assist with merchandising, restocking, and inventory control.
• Process transactions accurately using POS systems.
• Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and concerns with professionalism and care.
• Support daily opening and closing procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to create a seamless and engaging guest experience.
• Perform various related tasks as needed in the spirit of providing exceptional guest service, including lateral service in the hospitality industry.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail, luxury hospitality, or a guest-facing role preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Passion for fashion, lifestyle, and luxury retail environments.
• Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and maintain high-level attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain positive and productive working relationships with team members and other departments.
• Ability to work independently and promote an environment of teamwork.
• Must be able to stand or walk a minimum of eight-hour shifts.
• Must be able to twist, tow (push or pull), reach, bend, climb, and carry objects as necessary.
• Must have excellent communication skills and be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be able to work inside and outside at all times of the year as needed, based upon business volumes.
