Retail Associate Manager of Sales and Operations

Responsibilities

• Serve as a role model for maintaining all aspects of in-store and property upkeep and operations.
• Guide needed merchandise replenishment through close supervision and communication to ensure appropriate stock coverage in all areas.
• Supports Company objectives by demonstrating excellence in product knowledge, sales, service, and client development standards while training others.
• Maintains store and division KPI targets and coaches team members to show continuous improvement.
• Routinely facilitates daily opening and closing activities, replenishment, and inventory control activities while ensuring all team members are active participants.
• Partners with leadership to plan and execute events and in-kitchen demos that cause consumer engagement and conversion.
• Creates and ensures a positive environment where all associates are treated fairly and with dignity in accordance with our Mission, Vision, and Values.
• Communicates current business results and partners to create action plans for business improvement.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age
• Flexibility to work a non-traditional schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Available to work 40 hours per week, including two regularly scheduled shifts on the weekend (Saturday and Sunday) and two during the week (Monday to Friday)
• Physical ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time, climb ladders, and lift/carry up to 50 pounds while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques
• Prior retail sales experience, preferably in a specialty retail environment
• Authentic passion around cooking, baking, and entertaining
• Desire to develop and grow into future leadership roles
• Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
• Superior critical thinking skills to creatively identify challenges and develop action plans in a timely manner
• Great time management skills and ability to execute multiple tasks and appropriately manage competing priorities
• 2-3 years of previous retail management experience or management experience in a customer service or hospitality related field
