As a Retail Associate, you will ensure our customers have a positive shopping experience while maintaining merchandise presentation and store standards. Responsibilities

  • Prioritize safety by practicing safe behaviors and maintaining a secure shopping environment for customers and associates.
  • Treat all customers and associates with respect, courtesy, and professionalism; participate in company recognition programs.
  • Assist customers with merchandise, answer questions, and provide register support; greet customers warmly and thank them for transactions.
  • Respond promptly and efficiently to customer service calls and issues, escalating to store leadership when necessary.
  • Maintain store cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, dusting, replenishing restroom supplies, and disinfecting high-touch areas.
  • Adhere to the company dress code and maintain a professional appearance at all times.
  • Perform daily sizing and recovery tasks to ensure a neat, organized, and efficiently merchandised store.
  • Expedite newly received merchandise to the sales floor, merchandising items according to company guidelines and maintaining brand familiarity.
  • Understand and follow loss prevention programs, including merchandise protection standards and Mark-Out-of-Stock (MOS) policies.
  • Handle cash, check, charge card, and refund transactions accurately and securely, following all company procedures.
  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency and maximize productivity by executing store best practices and minimizing inefficiencies.

Requirements

  • Effectively communicate with customers, associates, and store leadership in a friendly, respectful, and cooperative manner.
  • Perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
  • Work full-time hours, including weekends and holidays as required.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to use store equipment, including PDTs, registers, and PCs.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move around the store for up to 100% of working time.
  • Regularly bend, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop.
  • Occasionally push, pull, and lift more than 25 pounds.
  • Use janitorial equipment, rolling racks, ladders, and other assigned supplies.
  • For stockroom shifts: Ability to regularly push, pull, and lift more than 20 pounds.
