As a Retail Associate, you will engage with customers, maintain store standards, and support operational goals in a dynamic retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Prioritize safety by practicing safe behaviors and maintaining a secure shopping environment for customers and associates.
- Treat all customers and associates with respect, courtesy, and professionalism; greet customers warmly and assist them promptly.
- Provide register assistance, answer customer questions, and handle issues courteously, escalating to leadership when needed.
- Maintain store cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, dusting, replenishing supplies, and disinfecting high-touch areas.
- Adhere to the company dress code and maintain a professional appearance at all times.
- Perform daily sizing and recovery tasks to ensure a neat, organized, and efficiently merchandised store.
- Expedite merchandise receipts to the sales floor, following company presentation guidelines and maintaining brand familiarity.
- Understand and follow Loss Prevention Awareness programs, including merchandise protection and shortage prevention.
- Process Mark-Out-of-Stock (MOS) merchandise according to company policies and notify leadership for disposal approval.
- Handle cash, check, charge card, and refund transactions accurately and securely, following all company procedures.
- Demonstrate urgency and efficiency in performing tasks, maximizing productivity by minimizing steps and touches in workflow.
Qualifications

Physical Requirements
- Ability to use store equipment, including PDTs, registers, and PCs.
- Capable of standing, walking, and moving around the store for up to 100% of working time.
- Regularly bend, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop.
- Occasionally push, pull, and lift more than 25 pounds.
- Use janitorial equipment, rolling racks, ladders, and other supplies.
- For stockroom shifts: Ability to regularly push, pull, and lift more than 20 pounds.
