Retail Associate - Firearms & Sporting Goods (Full-Time & Part-Time)

As a Team Member, you’ll share expertise on firearms, ammunition, camping, hiking, hunting, fishing, and more, while providing down-to-earth product displays and earning customer smiles from arrival to departure.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with knowledgeable advice on firearms, ammunition, outdoor gear, and related products.
• Create an easy and enjoyable shopping experience through well-organized product displays.
• Engage with customers positively from the moment they enter the store until they leave.
• Work as a team to uphold Murdoch’s Mission, Values, and Principles (MVPs).

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old to sell firearms.
• Possess a “can-do” attitude and a drive for productivity.
• Be prepared for a physically demanding role involving standing, bending, carrying, pushing, and reaching overhead.
• Capable of heavy and repetitive lifting (up to 50 lbs).
• Legally eligible to own a firearm.

• Standing for long periods of time.
• Repetitive wrist movements (e.g., keyboard use).
• Close vision required for computer work.
• Frequent bending, carrying, pushing, and overhead reaching.
