Retail Associate - Donor Door Attendant

About the role

Donation Receiving Associates assist our generous community members when they donate goods at our North Olmsted store. You’ll unload donations from vehicles, offer tax receipts, maintain accurate daily donation counts, and begin presorting items into categories.

Profits from selling donated goods support our outreach services, allowing us to invest in the community through employment training, social services, and family-strengthening initiatives. You’ll also help Goodwill prevent tons of trash from entering landfills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist donors as they arrive with donations
• Unload donations from vehicles
• Provide tax receipts to donors
• Maintain accurate daily donation counts
• Presort donated items into categories

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to treat others with respect and prioritize people
