About the Role
The Assistant Store Manager is a highly motivated leader passionate about creating extraordinary customer experiences. This role involves managing all aspects of the business in conjunction with the Store Manager, driving sales growth, coaching and developing associates, and ensuring the store meets individual sales and metric goals. The Assistant Store Manager will be a driving force for new and ongoing sales opportunities, directly impacting our growth and success.
Responsibilities
- Recruiting, training, supervising, appraising, and inspiring staff
- Managing staff schedules
- Analyzing store reporting
- Effectively managing customer queries and complaints
- Overseeing inventory management processes
- Maximizing profitability and meeting sales targets
- Motivating staff to achieve sales goals
- Executing visual merchandising directives
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
Requirements
- 1+ year(s) of retail management experience
- Experience in training and managing a team
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Able to work a flexible schedule
- Capability to lift and carry boxes or bins weighing up to 20 lbs
- Attention to detail
- Great sense of style
Pay
$22-$34 per hour
