Retail Assistant Store Manager - Merrell

As an Assistant Manager, you will play an integral support role to the Store Manager in managing overall store operations, driving sales, and leading a cohesive team to deliver memorable customer experiences. Responsibilities

• Motivate and engage your team to embody brand values daily, fostering an inclusive and positive work environment.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and model behaviors for the team.
• Assist in driving sales, maintaining standards, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Communicate efficiently with the team, customers, and community partners.
• Partner with the Store Manager to develop innovative marketing ideas.
• Take ownership of stock management, visual merchandising, and contributing to store KPIs.
• Educate the team and advise customers as the product expert.
• Foster a supportive, productive, and inclusive environment that promotes teamwork and accountability.
• Support store operations, including opening/closing, cash-handling, stock control, and maintaining store presentation.
• Create memorable customer experiences through authentic service.
• Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• Leadership or supervisory experience is preferred but not essential.
• Flexible schedule with availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Self-starter with ambition to achieve and exceed store targets.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
