As an Assistant Manager, you will play an integral support role to the Store Manager in managing overall store operations, driving sales, and leading a cohesive team to deliver memorable customer experiences. Responsibilities
- Motivate and engage your team to embody brand values daily, fostering an inclusive and positive work environment.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and model behaviors for the team.
- Assist in driving sales, maintaining standards, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Communicate efficiently with the team, customers, and community partners.
- Partner with the Store Manager to develop innovative marketing ideas.
- Take ownership of stock management, visual merchandising, and contributing to store KPIs.
- Educate the team and advise customers as the product expert.
- Foster a supportive, productive, and inclusive environment that promotes teamwork and accountability.
- Support store operations, including opening/closing, cash-handling, stock control, and maintaining store presentation.
- Create memorable customer experiences through authentic service.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
- Leadership or supervisory experience is preferred but not essential.
- Flexible schedule with availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Passion for Wolverine Worldwide brands and their lifestyles.
- Self-starter with ambition to achieve and exceed store targets.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
