Retail Assistant Store Manager - Fabletics (Fashion Outlets of Chicago - Rosemont, IL)

Fabletics is opening a new retail store at Fashion Outlets of Chicago in Rosemont, IL and is seeking a passionate, driven Assistant Store Manager to help shape an exceptional omnichannel shopping experience.

About the role

As a key collaborator with the Store Manager and leadership team, you’ll drive sales and operational excellence, leveraging cutting-edge technology to create a seamless experience between online and our physical store. You’ll partner with a forward-thinking team of associates to help customers and surpass KPIs. This position reports to the Store Manager.

Responsibilities

• Embody Fabletics culture and values through self-accountability, acting as a model for all team members.
• Support the Store Manager and Supervisor in training store Associates to actively engage customers in new and meaningful ways.
• Drive customer engagement through store events, promotions, and community projects.
• Manage daily store activities to align with Company and Store goals.
• Communicate inventory and training needs to the Store Manager to enhance the customer experience.
• Maintain store merchandising guidelines to make the store easy to shop and add value to the customer’s purchase journey.
• Provide and nourish feedback from all levels of the organization to continuously improve the business.
• Strive for excellence by meeting and exceeding store objectives related to performance, productivity, efficiency, and quality standards.
• Serve as a resource for general product knowledge to customers and team members.
• Maintain personal sales and achieve sales goals.
• Maintain all safety and security standards; identify and communicate potential issues.
• Unpack boxes for inventory as required (boxes can weigh 10-30 lbs).

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of management experience within a retail environment.
• Knowledge and familiarity with active lifestyle choices such as yoga, cycling/spin, Pilates, weight training, running, nutrition, and other healthy activities.
• Ability to socially interact with customers, employees, and business partners both inside and outside the store.
• Experience working with large teams.
• High degree of comfort dealing with ambiguity and taking initiative when opportunities arise.
• Familiarity with retail inventory and POS systems.
• Self-motivated, with strong communication skills and an innate ability to bring out the best in others.
• Ability to multi-task, set priorities, and work well under pressure.
• Flexibility in work hours; open to work evenings, weekends, and national holidays.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Physical demands

• Constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing, and standing for at least two consecutive hours.
• May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders.

Pay

Salary range: $24.20 - $28.40 per hour, depending on experience.
