Retail Assistant Store Manager

About the Role

Join SalonCentric, a subsidiary of L’Oréal USA and the premiere wholesale distributor of the finest salon professional beauty brands in the United States. As a Retail Assistant Store Manager, you will support the Store Manager in building a high-performing team, driving sales, and delivering exceptional customer service in a fun and creative retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in recruiting, training, and developing a high-performing team that exceeds customer expectations.
• Help establish and communicate a clear vision for the team, championing company goals and motivating associates.
• Support the Store Manager in identifying sales opportunities, analyzing trends, and implementing strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
• Foster a positive, enthusiastic, and open-communication culture within the store, leading by example and inspiring the team.
• Exhibit integrity in all actions, build trust with the team, and act with care and compassion.
• Use a computerized point-of-sale system (SAP experience preferred) and maintain strong organizational and time-management skills.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of retail leadership experience.
• Self-directed with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Outstanding customer service, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work weekends as required by availability guidelines.
• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs and stand/walk throughout the scheduled shift.
• Cosmetology license is a plus but not required.
• Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent, ongoing basis (no immigration sponsorship offered).

Pay

Salary range: $20.10 – $22.30 per hour.
