About the role

As an Assistant Store Manager (manager‑in‑training), you will lead, facilitate, and quarterback the sales floor while holding your team accountable for the “100% Commitments.” You will be responsible for meeting and exceeding revenue goals and delivering WOW customer service. Success is measured by your ability to develop successors and ensure your team consistently meets and exceeds key performance indicators (KPIs).

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate leadership with at least 3 years of retail/consumer sales experience, including 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Monitor all store inventory and processes.
• Coach and develop the Inventory Support Specialist, holding them accountable for accuracy and timeliness.
• Oversee the Finish Line checkout process and promote the VIP program benefits to every customer.
• Perform opening and closing duties reliably and punctually.
• Develop team members, take corrective action, and lead performance reviews.
• Implement monthly merchandise plans and plan‑ograms as directed by the Merchandising Department.
• Prepare and conduct pre‑race meetings to ready team members for the day’s events.
• Participate in ongoing leadership training and identify/develop your replacement.
• Inspire the team with a positive attitude and high energy.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of retail or consumer sales experience.
• At least two years in a supervisory or management capacity.
• Ability to work seven days a week to serve customers and support the team.

Pay

USD $22.00 – $27.00 per hour.

Schedule

Must have availability to work seven days a week.
