Retail Assistant Store Manager
Job Overview
We are seeking an Assistant Store Manager with relevant experience to support operational and customer-facing tasks in our stores. Key responsibilities include managing a team, ensuring store operations, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and driving sales performance.
Qualifications
- Retail industry knowledge and skills
- Over 2 years of store leadership experience in retail
- High level of ethics, values, integrity, and trust
- Demonstrated ability to use data and metrics to implement effective solutions
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and implement new standardization directives
- High School Diploma
- Able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry, and move merchandise and supplies up to 50 lbs.
- Stand and walk for extended periods (up to 6-8 hours per shift)
- Bend, kneel, reach, and climb safely
- Perform repetitive tasks such as unpacking boxes, tagging items, and stocking shelves
- Work in a fast-paced environment that may require quick movements and multitasking
- Work in varying temperature conditions, including stockroom and receiving areas
- Manual dexterity to operate standard stockroom tools
