About the role

POP MART is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support its expansion in the United States. This individual will oversee store operations, ensuring a positive customer and employee experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of Brand Associates, setting expectations, goals, and developing talent
  • Act as the manager on duty, focusing on delivering results while maintaining a positive customer and employee experience
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment for customers, employees, and store products
  • Set high store standards reflecting POP MART's brand image, values, and culture
  • Be a subject matter expert on POP MART's core business information, including characters, products, and company history
  • Support company marketing events and RoboShop business as needed
  • Drive sales of key products such as blind boxes, MEGA, and accessories
  • Work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Execute Visual Merchandising and Marketing directives, install marketing materials, and manage inventory

Qualifications

  • Retail industry knowledge, skills, and abilities
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Confidence and comfort in engaging customers for a great customer experience
  • More than 2 years of store leadership experience in retail
  • High level of ethics, values, integrity, and trust
  • Experience working independently in an ambiguous environment with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated ability to use data and metrics to implement effective solutions
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and implement new standardization directives
  • High School Diploma
  • Must be 18 years old or older

Physical Requirements

  • Able to lift, carry, and move merchandise and supplies up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 6-8 hours per shift)
  • Able to bend, kneel, reach, and climb safely
  • Able to perform repetitive tasks such as unpacking boxes, tagging items, and stocking shelves
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment that may require quick movements and multitasking
  • Able to work in varying temperature conditions, including stockroom and receiving areas
  • Manual dexterity required to operate standard stockroom tools (e.g., box cutters)
