Retail Assistant Store Manager
About the role
POP MART is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support its expansion in the United States. This individual will manage store operations, ensuring a positive customer and employee experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of Brand Associates, setting expectations, goals, and developing talent
- Act as the manager on duty, focusing on delivering results while maintaining a positive customer and employee experience
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment for customers, employees, and store products
- Set high store standards reflecting POP MART's brand image, values, and culture
- Be a subject matter expert on POP MART's core business information, including characters, products, and company history
- Support company marketing events and RoboShop business as needed
- Drive sales of POP MART key products such as Blind boxes, MEGA, and accessories
- Work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Execute Visual Merchandising and Marketing directives, install marketing decals, and set up merchandising plans
- Remerchandise the sales floor based on product performance and inventory management
- Perform back of house tasks such as inventory management, receiving, and transferring goods
Requirements
- Retail industry knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Confidence and comfort in engaging customers for a great customer experience
- More than 2 years of store leadership experience in retail
- High level of ethics, values, integrity, and trust
- Experience working independently in an ambiguous environment with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated ability to use data and metrics to inform solutions
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and implement new directives
- High School Diploma
- Must be 18 years old or older
- Flexible and able to prioritize multiple tasks
- Enjoy learning new things and contributing to a strong team culture

- Ability to work in varying temperature conditions
- Manual dexterity to operate stockroom tools
